Vermutlich bin ich derzeit der einzige Rutenbauer in Zentraleuropa, welcher nebst gespliessten Angelruten auch ganz traditionell Fliegenruten aus heimischen Hölzern baut. Diese sind übrigens in keinster Weise «schlechter» als Kohlefaser oder Gespliesste aus Bambus (mehr hier: Cane and Greenheart V Carbon Fibreglass).

Zudem waren Fliegenruten aus Holz noch bis zur Zeit des WW2 absolut üblich, besonders in Kanada und England. Meine Holzruten» sind nach aktuellen Bedürfnisse betreffend Aktion.
